My Approach
After years of working in clinics, schools, and teletherapy, I had the desire to provide speech and language therapy for children where it really counts – at home! When collaborating with parents in a child’s natural environment, the skills your child learns are practiced more regularly, helping them reach their goals faster. My treatment is individualized for your child, and I utilize methods that are play-based and child-led to instill motivation and a sense of accomplishment. I offer a judgment-free, solutions-focused space for you and your child when I visit, because I believe building positive relationships encourages meaningful growth.

Hi, I'm Amanda
I’m a speech-language pathologist licensed in the state of Michigan and I hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). I’ve provided speech and language therapy for years in outpatient, school, and teletherapy settings, with clients that range in age from infant to geriatric. I’m a neurodiversity affirming therapist who values building meaningful relationships with the children, parents, and caregivers that invite me into their homes. I’m trained in the PROMPT tactile cueing system and Positive Discipline, have experience with Social Thinking curriculum, and I incorporate Greenspan’s DIR/Floortime model for relationship-based play in my therapy sessions.

I provide a complimentary consultation in a 10-15 minute phone call to discuss your concerns and answer your questions as we determine if an evaluation is appropriate for your child.
Free Initial Phone Consultation
I provide in-depth full evaluations for speech and/or language concerns which lead to a customized treatment plan for your child. Shorter screenings can be provided when an evaluation has already taken place elsewhere. This provides updated baseline information.
Evaluations
I provide speech therapy in-home, including a treatment plan that is unique to your child and family. I always make therapy sessions fun and engaging! I provide information or a demonstration before I leave so that you can continue to build your child's success.
